4- Letoon Ancient City

It is known that the ancient city of Letoon, known as a religious center in antiquity, was founded in the 7th century BC. There are temples of Leto, Apollo and Artemis in Letoon, which is known as a sacred area. The ancient city of Letoon was included in the Unesco World Heritage List in 1988. The most famous structure of the ancient city on the Lycian road is Leto Temple. This temple belongs to Leto, who is believed to be the mother of Artemis and Apollo. As a result of the research, an inscription was found on this temple. The most interesting feature of this inscription is that it is written in 3 different languages.

Apollo and Artemis temples are smaller than Leto Temple. It was also less protected. There is also an ancient theater and a church in the area.

5- Ancient City Patara

Patara Ancient City is located between Kalkan and Fethiye and was the capital of the Lycian civilization in ancient times.
